We are currently looking for a Cluster Government Relation Manager

Main Duties And Responsibilities

As a Cluster Government Relation Manager, you are responsible for the processing of all transactions relating to visas, permits, licenses, and registration while liaising with various government departments and agencies, and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Oversee the processing of all types of visas, including employment visas, residence visas for employees as well as for entertainers and guest required visas
• Liaise with government authorities including MOHRE, GDRFA, Dubai Municipality, DED, and other regulatory bodies.
• Monitor the renewal of permits and licenses, including hotel trade license, liquor trading license, chamber of commerce certificates of registration, civil defense certificate for the hotel, etc.
• Be up to date with regard to any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws/rules/regulations, changes in forms/formats, and other procedures
• Ensure that all relevant documents are submitted periodically to the immigration/labour office with regard to cancelled / absconding employees in order to be deleted from the hotel’s sponsorship list
• Ensure the departure and exit formalities for employees are completed after cancellation of visas
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements, minimizing the risk of penalties and fines.
• Support hotel management with government-related approvals, inspections, and documentation.
  
  

Experience

• Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage
  
  

Requirement

• Proven work experience as a Government Relation Manager or similar role
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, immigration procedures, and government regulations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
