We are seeking candidates who can be based in Abu Dhabi and are available to work onsite full-time.
To provide hands-on day-to-day support for the safe, timely and compliant delivery of clinical trials at hospital level, working under the direction of the Clinical Trials Research Coordinator and within delegated responsibilities, approved protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable UAE requirements and organisational policy.
The role supports participants, investigators and the wider study team through visit coordination, accurate documentation and data entry, trial logistics and administrative follow-through. It identifies and escalates clinical, quality, safety or compliance concerns promptly to the coordinator and Principal Investigator.
Responsibilities
Study Start-Up Support: Prepare study files, logs, materials, equipment and training records; arrange site initiation activities and staff briefings; and complete assigned readiness actions under the direction of the Clinical Trials Research Coordinator.
Participant Scheduling and Visit Support: Assist with approved pre-screening and recruitment activities, schedule visits, coordinate tests and procedures, support the consent process as delegated, and provide participants with approved practical information. Escalate clinical or study-related questions promptly.
Documentation and Data Entry: Create and maintain accurate source documents, CRFs/eCRFs, visit logs, trackers and filing. Enter data within timelines, respond to assigned queries, identify missing or inconsistent information and refer issues to the coordinator.
Compliance and Safety Support: Work in accordance with the protocol, GCP, organisational policies and applicable UAE requirements. Report potential adverse events, deviations, consent issues or confidentiality concerns immediately, and prepare records for monitoring, audit and inspection.
Study Communication and Administration: Maintain calendars and study trackers, arrange meetings, circulate approved updates and follow up assigned actions. Liaise with investigators, the corporate research office, sponsor/CRO monitors and hospital departments through the coordinator.
Trial Logistics and Inventory: Coordinate sample shipments, study supplies, equipment, document storage and archiving. Support investigational product accountability and protocol-required tests within delegated responsibilities, maintaining accurate records and escalating discrepancies.
Training and Continuous Learning: Complete GCP, study-specific and organisational training; maintain training evidence; follow updated procedures; seek guidance when unsure; and contribute suggestions that improve accuracy, participant experience and day-to-day trial delivery.
