They evaluate patient-specific information and consult with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver effective treatment plans. Furthermore, they may be involved in pharmacokinetic and pharmacoeconomic analyses, provide education on medication use, and enforce adherence to treatment protocols to improve patient safety and treatment efficacy.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college is required.
• Possession of a valid pharmacy license in the practicing state is mandatory.
• At least two years of clinical pharmacy experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics, disease management, and drug interaction mechanisms.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information to patients and staff.
• Ability to perform detailed pharmaceutical calculations accurately and efficiently.
• Proficient in using pharmacy information systems and electronic health records for data management.
