Job Description

The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and administration of a healthcare facility. This pivotal role ensures that the clinic runs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient care and service delivery. The Clinic Manager works closely with healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and other stakeholders to optimize workflows, manage budgets, and implement policies. They play a critical role in staff management, training, and development to ensure a competent and motivated team. With their leadership, the clinic aims to provide a welcoming environment that meets the needs of patients and complies with healthcare regulations and standards.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the clinic to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate the schedules of healthcare professionals and staff.
  • Implement clinic policies and procedures to comply with healthcare regulations.
  • Develop and manage the clinic’s operational budget and financial performance.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff to ensure a high level of competence.
  • Ensure seamless patient flow and reduce wait times through efficient processes.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and address any areas for improvement promptly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance the quality of care offered.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for clinic supplies and maintenance needs.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and operational updates.
  • Analyze clinic data to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations to protect patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare management role.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and staff interaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and optimize operational costs efficiently.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards in a clinical environment.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
