Job Summary
The Client Development Associate is an entry level position into the Engagement Solutions sales organization allowing the person to support the current sales team efforts while evaluating their interest in sales or marketing within healthcare communications. The Engagement Solutions team works with over 50 companies and 150+ brands on an annual basis. We have a distinct sales process for both our direct pharma clients and their media agencies. One of the primary responsibilities of this role will be to support the sales team efforts on Request for Proposals (RFPs) from brand media agencies. Selling through media agencies is a growth strategy for the Engagement Solutions team and important to our success each year.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement and full support of Client Services with the development of Request for Proposals (RFPs) from brand media agencies
- Create and manage multiple tracking documents for Sales Team (Media Agency List, RFP tracker, etc.)
- Coordinate with Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to oversee the accuracy of the sales pipeline
- Identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness. Coordinate cross-functionally to deliver process improvements, playbooks, toolkits, and skills development
- Assist with CRM database management, including account/brand updates, contact management, running reports, etc.
- Develops data-driven insights and recommendations on pipeline, segmentation and targeting
- Support the organization of Sales SharePoint with sales resources (PPT, excel, market data, etc.)
- Lead Generation (Email outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)
- Support Marketing efforts of the organization by bringing resources to sales team
- Work with CRO planning sales meetings and weekly sales huddles
- Monitor industry trade publications for decision-makers, products, competition, and trends
- Monitor FDA and other databases for new drug approvals, pipeline status
- Research credentials and work history to prepare team for sales calls
- Manage productive and positive business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Attend sales meetings, document pain points, areas of need and interest and post meeting deliverables
- Available to the organization for special project work, as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot)
- Previous experience in sales support communications and administration
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to confidently organize and present latest information
- High personal standards in all aspects of work
- Upbeat, positive, motivated, and able to maintain composure under pressure
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook and database administration. MS Project a plus

Working Conditions:
- Hybrid working if within 40 miles of a Relevate Health Office (Dallas, Boston, Cincinnati, New Jersey)
- Remote working if outside 40 miles of a Relevate Health Office
- Travel may apply based on position
- Hours may vary based on position and location of client
