Responsibilities

• Ensure all kitchen surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly throughout the day.
• Assist with the ongoing deep cleaning procedures for all kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as necessary.
• Dispose of waste materials in accordance with kitchen waste management protocols.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and request orders for new supplies when running low.
• Monitor and report any repair needs for cleaning equipment or kitchen facilities.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties in the kitchen.
• Ensure all dishes, utensils, and cooking tools are washed, dried, and stored properly.
• Assist the kitchen staff by maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to streamline cleaning and cooking tasks effectively.
• Provide additional support during peak hours to ensure kitchen efficiency.
• Communicate with supervisors about any safety or sanitation concerns immediately.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar cleaning role, preferably in a kitchen setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and experience in handling cleaning equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a kitchen team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
