Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms with necessary supplies daily.
• Dust, wipe, and disinfect surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills.
• Vacuum and mop floors to ensure cleanliness across all designated areas.
• Handle waste segregation, disposal, and recycling as per company guidelines.
• Operate cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners and floor polishers efficiently.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues such as liquid spills or lighting problems.
• Replenish supplies in coffee corners, break rooms, and common kitchen areas.
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used safely and stored appropriately.
• Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations while performing duties.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve hygiene goals.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff within the premises.
• Maintain logs of cleaning activities performed and supplies used on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cleaner or in a similar custodial role.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Good physical stamina, as the role requires standing and moving for long periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and best practices for cleaning.
