A Civil Supervisor plays a critical role in managing construction activities and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. This position requires a high level of organizational skills, leadership abilities, and technical knowledge of civil engineering. Civil Supervisors work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to oversee the daily operations on site and resolve any issues that may arise during the project's execution. They are responsible for ensuring the safety of all workers, providing site updates, and ensuring compliance with government regulations and standards. Their eye for detail and commitment to quality and efficiency are crucial in successfully delivering construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily construction activities on the assigned project site.
• Coordinate with project managers and other supervisors to streamline work processes.
• Ensure all constructions are performed within specifications and approved plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize project disruptions and delays.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations at all times.
• Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on work progress and site conditions.
• Coordinate logistics and delivery of materials to ensure work continuity.
• Manage budget allocations and report any discrepancies to the project manager.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams and external contractors for project needs.
• Ensure the effective use of resources and suggest cost-saving strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a civil construction supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects successfully.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Outstanding leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
