Civil Foreman

The Civil Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities related to civil works. This includes managing laborers, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and overseeing day-to-day progress to ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the activities of masons, helpers, steel fixers, carpenters, and other site workers.
• Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with the Site Engineer to ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor daily progress and report to the site management.
• Resolve on-site technical issues in coordination with engineering staff.
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity of workers.
• Ensure the implementation of safety procedures and conduct toolbox talks when required.
• Inspect and verify work quality at various stages of construction.
• Maintain records of labor, material usage, and site activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team coordination
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards
• Language: Basic proficiency in English (Arabic or Hindi is a plus)
