Civil Finishing Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a Civil / Finishing Engineer to contribute to the maintenance, renovation, and finishing works for large commercial and residential facilities in the UAE.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily civil and finishing maintenance activities (carpentry, masonry, tiling, painting, plastering, flooring, façade, etc.)
• Conduct routine inspections, identify defects, and oversee corrective actions
• Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and manage work order workflows
• Lead refurbishment, renovation, and fit-out works, ensuring quality and compliance
• Review drawings, BOQs, and material submittals
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Prepare snag lists, technical reports, and cost estimates
• Ensure full adherence to HSE requirements and support audit activities
  
  

• 5–7+ years of experience in civil/finishing maintenance or building renovation
• Strong hands-on knowledge of finishing materials, standards, and construction methods
• Experience in commercial or residential facilities (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• UAE valid driving licenses & car is required
  
  

• Familiarity with CAFM systems and FM operational workflows
• Certifications in Facilities Management or HSE are an advantage

• Compensation: All-inclusive AED 6,000 - AED 8,000 per month + Visa + Medical Insurance for self
