Civil Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction and telecom infrastructure projects. The candidate should have strong experience in telecom civil works, fiber optic cable projects, duct and manhole construction, utility infrastructure, and site supervision. The ideal candidate must possess good knowledge of AutoCAD, engineering software tools, and MS Office applications for preparing and reviewing technical drawings, project documentation, progress reports, and project coordination activities. Experience working in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain regions is mandatory. A valid UAE Driving License is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, supervise, and manage telecom infrastructure and civil construction activities.
• Oversee fiber optic cable installation, duct works, manholes, chambers, and related civil works.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Monitor site progress and ensure project completion as per project requirements and schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors efficiently.
• Review engineering drawings, method statements, and technical documents.
• Liaise with utility authorities and obtain necessary approvals when required.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in telecom infrastructure and civil construction projects.
• Proven experience in fiber optic cable projects, telecom civil works, duct installation, and manhole construction.
• Experience working in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain regions.
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project execution, and site management.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing, reviewing, and modifying engineering drawings
• Experience with engineering and project management software tools.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Experience in telecom infrastructure and utility-related projects in the UAE
• Knowledge of UAE authority regulations, standards, and approval procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and site teams effectively.
