Civil Engineer – Utility Infrastructure Projects (225-909)

We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with a specialization in utility infrastructure projects to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, particularly those related to utilities like water, energy, and waste management. Your expertise will be critical in supporting the development and enhancement of our infrastructure projects, ensuring that they meet both regulatory standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, a strong sense of project management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement utility infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to determine the design and viability of projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to align objectives and deliverables.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports for utility projects.
• Supervise construction and maintenance work on site and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and estimates prepared by others.
• Perform site investigations to evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or modifications.
• Utilize advanced software tools for design modeling and project management tracking.
• Manage budgets effectively and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients and contractors throughout each project phase.
• Ensure proper documentation of all project activities, changes, and updates for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain within a specified period.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in utility infrastructure project management and execution.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address project challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for facilitating project discussions.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
