We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer specializing in projects for our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various civil engineering projects from conception through completion. As a pivotal member of our engineering team, you will be involved in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of project plans. You must be comfortable coordinating with diverse project teams, managing budgets, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of civil engineering principles, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills to drive projects towards successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Coordinate and direct contractors to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Prepare drafts and present engineering designs and project proposals.
• Develop detailed project scopes, objectives, and designs, meeting all technical specifications.
• Monitor compliance with construction safety regulations and building codes.
• Review and report project progress and alter project schedules as necessary.
• Resolve design and implementation issues that arise during project execution.
• Procure equipment and materials necessary for project implementation on time.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and construction staff.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering plans and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Civil Engineer, preferably in project management roles.
• Strong working knowledge of construction materials, processes, and safety standards.
• Proficient in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Professional engineering license (PE) or related certification preferred.
