We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer (Projects) to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of our construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, alongside a proven ability to manage complex projects from conception through to completion. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, enabling them to solve problems efficiently and effectively. As a Civil Engineer specializing in projects, you will be tasked with overseeing the design, planning, and execution of various infrastructural projects, ensuring that they meet specified standards and are completed within allocated budgets and timelines. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders will be crucial to achieving positive outcomes in all projects undertaken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans and schedules for infrastructure projects.
• Manage project budgets to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct site assessments to gather essential data for accurate planning.
• Ensure all engineering activities align with safety standards and regulations.
• Produce detailed engineering plans and drawings for project specifications.
• Monitor and report on project progression to top management regularly.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for project challenges.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, including bids, proposals, and contracts.
• Conduct feasibility studies to inform decision-making on alternative project approaches.
• Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle to uphold engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project-based civil engineering work.
• Strong proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent project management skills with proven ability to lead teams.
• Exceptional communication skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge of local and international engineering codes and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid Professional Engineering license preferred, though not mandatory.
