Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects such as roads, bridges, dams, and other large infrastructure projects. You will work closely with a team of engineers, architects, and construction workers to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and environmental regulations. Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and supervise infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed reports on project feasibility.
  • Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and construction teams to fulfill project objectives.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to legal guidelines, health, and safety standards.
  • Develop cost-effective solutions and strategies during the engineering process.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently to maximize productivity.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to guarantee structure safety.
  • Research and analyze data, maps, and reports to plan project development phases.
  • Supervise and guide junior engineers and construction teams as necessary.
  • Stay updated with advancements in engineering tools, technology, and methodologies.
  • Communicate technical knowledge to non-technical stakeholders effectively when required.
  • Participate in public consultations and stakeholder meetings for project discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to acquire it.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and others.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
