Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive civil engineering project plans and designs.
• Conduct thorough site investigations and analyze data to inform project decisions.
• Ensure that all civil engineering projects comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to establish and achieve goals.
• Lead and participate in the preparation and manipulation of technical reports.
• Supervise the construction process and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with government authorities for permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Recommend sustainable and cost-effective construction materials and techniques.
• Utilize computer-aided design software for preparing detailed engineering designs.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocations for optimum project delivery.
• Develop risk management strategies to minimize project risks and liabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred and recommended for this position.
• A minimum of three years of experience in civil engineering project management.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of construction laws, materials, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
