Civil Engineer 01F25 directs the planning, design, and construction of vital infrastructure projects. As a crucial team player, you will collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You will administer complex civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and water treatment systems, while ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations. Your expertise in engineering principles will guide your work to meet the strictest safety standards. This role requires a balance of on-site work and coordination of design plans, among other tasks pertinent to the efficacy of the development efforts. Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the construction of infrastructure projects to meet client specifications.

• Review and approve engineering designs and plans from junior engineers and consulting firms.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential project-related risks and issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in civil engineering or a similar field.
• Strong proficiency in engineering design software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills tailored to engineering challenges.
