We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings for civil engineering projects. As a Civil Draftsman, your role will be crucial in ensuring that all designs are precise and adhere to the specified technical requirements and regulations. You will work closely with engineers and architects to develop plans for residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Your ability to interpret architectural and engineering blueprints and translate them into working plans will be paramount. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to gather all necessary information for design.
• Prepare dimensional and installation drawings for civil engineering projects.
• Interpret and analyze data from surveys, technical reports, and blueprints.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Participate in project planning meetings to understand project scope and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with other drafters and project managers to meet project deadlines.
• Revise and update designs and drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to understand project constraints and requirements first-hand.
• Prepare and review bill of materials and equipment required for projects.
• Maintain accurate records of design, specifications, and approvals for all projects.
• Assist in the preparation of progress and status reports for ongoing projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training in drafting preferred.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and related design software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and architectural principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drafts and drawings.
• Ability to read, interpret, and translate technical blueprints and plans.
• Experience with various drafting tools and methodologies for civil projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
