Job Description

A Chiropractor is a healthcare professional focused on the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders, with an emphasis on treatment through manual adjustment or manipulation of the spine. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose neuromuscular disorders through comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic testing.
  • Perform chiropractic adjustments to correct spinal misalignments and alleviate patients' discomfort.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient examinations and assessment findings.
  • Advise patients on healthy lifestyle changes and exercise to enhance treatment efficacy.
  • Educate patients on proper body mechanics and posture to prevent future injuries.
  • Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records, including examination findings and treatment results.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Promote chiropractic services through community events, health fairs, and seminars.
  • Operate and maintain chiropractic equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper function.
  • Stay updated on chiropractic advancements and techniques through continuing education.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards of practice.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
  • Valid license to practice as a chiropractor.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular health conditions and treatments.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex procedures and treatments to patients.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks requiring strength and dexterity.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in chiropractic care.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and chiropractic equipment for patient assessments.
