Job Description

We are looking for a Chief Operations Officer, a highly driven operator — a problem-solver who can execute complex, cross-functional projects and act as a trusted right hand to the CEO. This person will manage special situations, operational challenges, and strategic initiatives across a diverse investment and business portfolio (including software, digital products, real estate, and venture assets). The ideal candidate is not a traditional investment professional, but rather an operations manager with exposure to investment environments (Private Equity / Venture Capital) and a deep understanding of how digital businesses operate.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Drive complex, cross-functional projects from idea to execution on behalf of the UBO;
  • Manage “special situations” — operational improvements, performance calibration, and restructuring cases within the portfolio;
  • Represent the Founder in negotiations and ensure follow-through on critical initiatives;
  • Oversee selected operational assets and ensure profitability, sustainability, and process discipline;
  • Collaborate closely with CEOs and management teams across the portfolio;
  • Analyze asset performance (software businesses) and identify operational bottlenecks or strategic opportunities.

We Expect From You

  • Fluency in the Russian language (written/verbal) is required;
  • A proven track record in multi-asset governance across both digital and traditional asset classes (in Private Equity, Venture Capital, family office, or complex multi-asset environments);
  • Experience in special situations, restructuring, or turnaround management is a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of software and digital business models.
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance, including valuation, capital structure, and financial modeling;
  • Demonstrated experience leading M&A transactions, complex private equity deals, IPO processes, and exit strategies;
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a successful history of executing complex, cross-functional initiatives;
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing and scaling professional teams of 10 or more;
  • Hands-on experience with a broad range of asset classes: equities, options, fixed income, commodities, hedge funds, real estate, venture capital funds, direct VC deals, and private equity funds;
  • Knowledge of asset management strategies, including portfolio diversification, optimization, and rebalancing; Expertise in international taxation and legal structuring for corporate groups, especially in EU (ideally Cyprus), the USA, Hong Kong, and the UAE;
  • Structured and analytical thinking — ability to synthesize key information and discard non-essential details;
  • A results-driven mindset with high accountability, strong decision-making skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a proactive approach to continuous growth.

What You’ll Gain

  • REMOTE OPPORTUNITY to work full time;
  • 7 wellness days per year (time off) that can be used to deal with household issues, to lie down and recover without taking sick leave;
  • Bonuses up to $5000 for recommending successful applicants for positions in the company;
  • Full payment for professional training, international conferences, and meetings;
  • Corporate discount for English lessons;
  • Health benefits. If you are not eligible for Corporate Medical Insurance, the company will compensate up to $1000 gross per year per employee, according to the paychecks. This can be spent on self-purchase of health insurance, or on doctor’s fees for yourself and close relatives (spouse, children);
  • Workplace organization. The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. In the other places, the company reimburses workplace costs up to $ 1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
  • Internal gamified gratitude system: receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for merch, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.
