About Cafe Kira

Café KIRA is positioned as a more casual, everyday version of KIRA—combining elevated café dining, pastries, drinks and evening dining in a sophisticated Jumeirah neighborhood setting.

Role Overview

Café Kira is looking for an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team for the opening of our new concept.

We are seeking a skilled culinary professional who can independently manage a kitchen section, maintain KIRA's high culinary standards, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring efficient preparation and smooth service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and portion control.
• Organize and supervise daily mise en place, ensuring readiness for service.
• Train and guide junior chefs, maintaining discipline, teamwork, and operational efficiency.
• Follow standardized recipes, SOPs, and HACCP regulations.
• Monitor stock levels, minimize food waste, and maintain proper inventory rotation.
• Support the senior culinary team during the pre-opening phase, including kitchen setup, recipe implementation, and team training.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and effective communication across kitchen sections.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie is mandatory, preferably in a premium, high-volume restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong culinary knowledge and the ability to independently manage a kitchen section.
• Proven experience in fast-paced kitchen operations.
• Experience supervising and training junior kitchen staff.
• Solid knowledge of HACCP, food safety, inventory control, and kitchen organization.
• Excellent time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Previous pre-opening experience is an advantage.
