Job Description

• Manage and oversee a specific kitchen section (e.g., hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry, grill).
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
• Supervise and train Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or spoilage to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
• Minimize waste and control food costs within the assigned section.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food according to HACCP standards.
• Assist with menu development and daily specials when required.
