As a Change Manager – IT Programmes, you will lead structured change management and programme execution for internal IT improvement initiatives, ensuring effective adoption readiness and successful transition within IT. This role is part of the Governance and Planning Function in Group IT, reporting to the Senior Manager – IT Planning and Improvements, overseeing strategy, business planning, improvements, manpower planning, knowledge management, and integrated tooling metrics. In This Role, You Will

  • Lead end-to-end execution of internal IT improvement programmes by managing programme plans, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies, while engaging proactively with IT leadership and stakeholders to secure sponsorship, alignment, and successful delivery.
  • Develop and implement structured change management plans to ensure high adoption, smooth transitions, and effective integration of new IT processes and systems.
  • Develop and nurture internal change agent communities to promote continuous improvement and effective feedback loops.
  • Design and execute clear communication strategies to ensure awareness, understanding, and alignment across IT teams regarding programme objectives and progress, while maintaining proactive engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Manage and deliver targeted capability-building initiatives to equip IT teams with the necessary skills to effectively adopt and sustain improvements, and provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to teams, fostering resilience, adaptability, and ongoing professional development.
  • Define, implement, and refine KPIs and metrics to measure programme effectiveness and adoption, and inform continuous improvement efforts, ensuring measurable outcomes and sustained impact.

Qualification

To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:

  • Degree or Honours (12+ 3 or equivalent) in Information Technology, Business Management, or other related fields.
  • Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • Certification in Change Management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI) preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years experience managing change/transformation programmes and improvement initiatives in complex, multicultural environments (IT industry preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in large-scale transformation programme execution.
  • Proven track record in driving adoption and sustaining long-term improvements across large organisations.
  • Expert in change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR), with advanced programme and project management capabilities.
  • Strong communicator and influencer, skilled in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and building trust at all organisational levels.
  • Analytical thinker with critical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, able to navigate complex challenges.
  • Experienced in coaching, mentoring, and supporting stakeholders, fostering growth and accountability across the organisation.
  • Adaptable and resilient, able to manage multiple initiatives in fast-paced environments with a solid grasp of business concepts, dependencies, and familiarity with BI, analytics, and related technologies.
