As a Change and Capability Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the design and execution of change management plans for critical IT initiatives. Your primary responsibility is to enable the successful adoption and sustained embedding of change across the business. You will apply change management methodologies to assess impacts, identify stakeholder needs, and develop readiness and adoption plans. A core focus of the role is to also monitor adoption progress ensuring that initiatives are not only implemented, but fully embraced.

You will manage learning and capability development initiatives from inception to delivery and play a key role in delivering business value by ensuring business readiness through employee engagement, identification and adoption of new capabilities. You will also establish learning paths to develop and retain our people through changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and ways of working, and culture.

You will report to the Change Manager – IT Programmes and contribute hands-on to the delivery of change across strategic IT initiatives. The change function is part of the Governance and Planning team within Group IT, led by the Senior Manager – IT Planning and Improvements.

In This Role You Will

  • Support engagement, development /evolution of capabilities and learning path development activities to create a connected IT workforce.
  • Ensure continuous development of individuals and teams by embracing new procedures, technologies and processes that support change.
  • Develop and plan learning opportunities to support adoption, engage with internal and external partners such as Learning and Talent, HR, Universities, local entities, technology partners, internship and apprenticeship plans. etc.
  • Lead and support Capability heads so that they are equipped to coach/mentor their teams through transitions and upskilling to new ways of working.
  • Work with communities of change agents to deliver on agreed change management plans, deliverables, and report on progress.
  • Ensure continuous engagement within the business, learning and adapting to what works and partnering with internal teams for specialist capability and corporate practice.
  • Coordinate the running of internal and external engagement events to ensure all activities have the right level of change support.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to sustain an IT social media presence within the respective industry in line with the areas strategy. Create effective and engaging visual communications by designing and developing digital assets and print design as well as multimedia content. This includes videos, articles, print copy, website, blog posts and other visual media that support development and adoption activities driven by the department.
  • Buildand keep current content for knowledge sharing within IT, offering colleagues a platform where they can discuss topics and create awarness of their expertise with others.
  • Create learning programs by designing and developing engaging, exciting and easy-to-consume learner-centred training material, modules, video and other virtual learning products for online learning.

Qualification

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Information Technology, Information Management or Information Security
  • Experience working on change/transformation initiatives using project and change management methods in a large organisation

Knowledge/skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of change management principles and methodologies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and adapt to multiple change initiatives
  • Able to work effectively at all levels ? quickly establishing and then maintaining accountability and trust within key stakeholders
  • Ability to coach and support key stakeholders across teams
  • Ability to quickly grasp new business concepts, understand organizational issues
  • CyberSecurity Knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of security policies and principles of information handling and protection
  • Experience deploying and measuring effectiveness of security training to a global audience, leveraging LMS, webcasts, and other technology
  • An understanding of ISO security policy, and a working knowledge of other policy frameworks such as COBIT and NIST is a plus
  • Familiarity with local and regional regulatory information security requirements
