The European Tour group administers golf’s global Tour - the DP World Tour - the HotelPlanner Tour and the Staysure Legends Tour, as well as golf’s greatest team contest, the Ryder Cup.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Championship Manager to join our Championship Management team, based in our Dubai office.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role at the heart of our global events programme. You’ll work closely with Championship Management and event-specific teams to plan, project manage and deliver world-class events across our Tours.
You’ll support the Championship Management Team on Tier 1 events and take the lead on Tier 2 and Tier 3 events, working under the guidance of the Championship Director.
While the role is predominantly Middle East–based, there will be opportunities to work in Europe and Asia, including periods of travel of up to four weeks at a time, with weekend and evening working required around event delivery.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and enjoy taking ownership of complex events from concept to delivery, this role offers real scope and challenge.

Manage and coordinate all event logistics, including venues, catering, infrastructure and staffing
Lead operational meetings (supplier, venue and infrastructure planning) for Tier 2 and Tier 3 events
Monitor actions, drive completion and escalate when required
On-site event operations
Coordinate suppliers, manage client queries and troubleshoot issues on-site to ensure smooth, on-budget delivery
Organise facilities including car parking, traffic management, security, first aid, hospitality and media
Make operational decisions independently on Tier 2 and Tier 3 events
Oversee event breakdown, dismantling and venue clearance
Governance, compliance & reporting
Ensure insurance, legal, health & safety and other regulatory obligations are fully met
Produce post-event evaluations to capture learnings and inform future events
Research opportunities for new events and clients
Leadership & collaboration

Proven experience delivering high-profile sporting or large-scale international events (European Tour Group or equivalent experience desirable)
Strong project management capability, with experience following PRINCE2 methodology
Confident using collaborative tools such as Outlook, Teams, Excel and project tracking systems (e.g. WeTrack or similar)
Communication & stakeholder management
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships and instil confidence with senior stakeholders, partners and suppliers
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Flexible, adaptable and calm under pressure
Collaborative, inclusive and culturally aware, with experience working across different countries and teams
Additional Requirements
Willing and able to travel internationally for extended periods
Strong understanding of golf and its diverse stakeholder landscape
Additional language skills are a distinct advantage due to the international nature of our Tours
