Certification Lead E-VTOL

ARENGY is seeking for its customer as a permanent employee a Certification Lead to oversee and manage the certification process for our autonomous vehicle systems. This role requires deep expertise in regulatory compliance, safety standards, and certification requirements across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and industry partners to ensure our products meet all necessary certification standards.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the certification process for autonomous vehicle technologies, ensuring compliance with relevant industry and regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute certification strategies in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison with certification authorities, regulatory agencies, and industry standards organizations.
• Monitor changes in regulations and standards related to autonomous systems and update internal processes accordingly.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, and product teams to integrate certification requirements into the development lifecycle.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify potential compliance risks and work with teams to address them.
• Prepare and submit documentation required for certifications and regulatory approvals.
• Support audits, inspections, and testing processes necessary for certification approvals.
• Advocate for the company in industry working groups, contributing to the evolution of standards and regulations.
  
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in certification, regulatory compliance, or safety engineering, preferably in the automotive, robotics, or aerospace industries.
• In-depth knowledge of certification processes such CS-23 or CS-25 or CS-27 or CS-29 or ideally CS-VTOL
• Experience working with regulatory bodies such as EASA or FAA.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple certification programs simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory and technical requirements.
• Prior experience in autonomous vehicle technology or advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus.
