Job Description

As a Catering Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and expanding the catering services of our organization. Your main focus will be on building lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique event needs, and offering bespoke catering solutions. You will work closely with a dynamic team to ensure that every catering event exceeds client expectations. With your expertise in sales and passion for the hospitality industry, you will create tailored proposals, manage accounts, and execute sales strategies to achieve targets. This position requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to sales and customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new catering clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for catering services.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs within catering.
  • Meet and exceed catering sales targets by closing deals and expanding client base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Prepare and present customized catering proposals to prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure flawless execution of catering events.
  • Negotiate contract terms and agreements with clients for catering services.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote catering services.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to incorporate feedback and improve service offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Specialist in the catering or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of catering sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse client base.
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
