What will you be doing at MBRF?
The Category Management Analyst will be responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth of assigned categories across MENA, acting as the key integrator between market opportunities, category performance and business execution.
Develop category strategies that deliver sustainable and profitable growth, translating strategic priorities into clear regional action plans and BRF planning processes such as PO, Cycle and Mobile.
Own the 360° category performance diagnosis, connecting volume, revenue, consumption, market share, distribution, pricing, margin, P&L, inventory and other relevant KPIs to identify root causes and growth opportunities.
Actively manage the Category P&L, identifying deviations and opportunities across volume, price, mix, COGS, trade investment, margins and other value drivers, including value engineering initiatives.
Monitor market, consumer and competitive dynamics, connecting category performance with macro trends, shopper behavior, competitor activity and emerging consumption occasions to anticipate opportunities.
Identify category white spaces and growth platforms, using internal and external data to define opportunities in segments, price tiers, channels, occasions, pack formats and consumer needs where BRF can win.
Lead portfolio and assortment recommendations, including Must Stock Lists, SKU rationalization, product mix, distribution priorities and recommendations to improve availability and maximize category productivity.
Define category pipelines and innovation opportunities, translating white spaces, market trends and consumer needs into clear opportunities for new products and product improvements, in partnership with Marketing and Innovation.
Lead the category agenda for new launches and renovation of existing products, ensuring alignment between consumer opportunity, portfolio strategy, business case, supply feasibility, pricing, distribution and commercial plans.
Partner with Trade Marketing and Commercial teams to translate category strategy into trade plans, channel priorities, distribution targets, promotional priorities and customer-specific actions.
Act as an entrepreneurial category owner, proactively bringing new ideas, challenging assumptions and mobilizing cross-functional teams to capture opportunities and solve business problems.
What kind of profile are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
Fluent in English; Arabic is considered an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of experience within the FMCG industry, preferably in Category Management, Marketing, Business Analytics, Commercial Planning, or related functions.
Strong experience in market analysis, category performance management, and business planning.
Proven ability to analyze business performance, market intelligence, and category trends to support strategic decision-making.
Experience working cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations teams.
Advanced analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
