Cashier

To support our daily financial transactions and front-office operations, we are currently seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Cashier. This role is ideal for candidates with strong numerical skills and a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, cheque, and electronic transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Issue receipts, invoices, and payment acknowledgements to clients.
• Maintain daily cash records and reconcile cash balances at the end of each day.
• Record transactions in accounting or billing systems accurately.
• Assist clients with payment-related inquiries in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with the accounts team for daily and monthly reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and client data.
  
  

Requirements And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar finance-related role.
• Strong numerical and calculation skills with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and record keeping.
• Proficiency in MS Office and billing or accounting software.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
