We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for crafting high-quality woodwork. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and fixtures made primarily of wood. You will work closely with other construction professionals, follow blueprints and building plans, and ensure that projects are completed on time and to specification. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials as per project needs.
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and cabinetry, using carpentry tools.
• Ensure that installations comply with building codes and standards for safety.
• Construct and install building frameworks, including subflooring, walls, and rafters.
• Inspect damaged structures to assess the extent of repairs needed and provide solutions.
• Operate woodworking machinery and carpentry tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and project managers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and enhance efficiency.
• Communicate regularly with clients and supervisors to provide updates on project progress.
• Estimate the necessary material quantities and create purchase lists if required.
• Lead or assist in the training of carpentry apprentices as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with a solid portfolio of completed projects.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and best practices in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and carpentry tools.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina for handling demanding tasks.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
