We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Draughtsman to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans using CAD software, essential for the construction and manufacturing processes. Your work will help ensure the accuracy and quality of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drawing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex design specifications. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams to understand project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design improvements or changes.
• Provide support in the design and planning of new projects and models.
• Create three-dimensional models and prototype drawings as needed.
• Maintain project documents and records according to company protocols.
• Verify calculations and dimensions for accuracy of drawings and plans.
• Liaise with project leaders and management to deliver progress updates regularly.
• Assist in resolving design issues and provide solutions to improve efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in CAD technologies.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations in design practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Draughtsman or in a relevant role.
• Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or MicroStation.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, and design standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines effectively.
• Previous experience in construction or manufacturing industries is beneficial.
