Buyer

The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, selecting, and procuring goods or materials that meet the company’s quality standards and budget requirements. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, analyzing market trends, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain effective supplier relationships while ensuring cost-efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Identify purchasing needs based on inventory levels, demand forecasts, and departmental requests.

• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, price competitiveness, and timely delivery.

• Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with vendors to maximize value for the company.

• Create and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delays, or discrepancies.

• Maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.

• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

• Analyze market and delivery trends to develop procurement strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Buyer or in a procurement role.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
