Job Description

The Buyer 20N25 is a key role within our procurement team, responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, or equipment aligned with company requirements. This position requires a professional with strategic decision-making abilities, capable of negotiating with suppliers to ensure the company receives the best value. The Buyer 20N25 will work closely with various departments to anticipate their needs, monitor market trends, and maintain an optimal level of inventory. This role calls for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has excellent communication and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, always seeking to improve processes and leverage purchasing power to positively impact the company’s bottom line.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies for cost-effective procurement processes.
  • Conduct research to identify potential vendors and evaluate their offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve best value.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
  • Monitor order status, ensure timely delivery, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to foresee future product availability.
  • Manage supplier relationships and regularly assess performance and compliance.
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained to meet organizational demands.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing metrics to management.
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures related to procurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful agreements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and detailed knowledge of supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Familiarity with market research and data analysis techniques for supply chain optimization.
