A Butler at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre engages with our Guests throughout the entire stay. From pre arrival to check-out, the Butler is always prepared to respond to all Guests requests following the Forbes 5 stars standards at all times.

What will I be doing?

As a Butler, you will be part of the Front Office Team and will be the main connection between the Guest, the hotel, and the other hotel’s departments. A Butler Team Member truly influences the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, is responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Has to have a comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, including services and outlets of all departments.
  • Provide assistance and information to all guests in a professional and corteous way.
  • Build a rapport with all in-house guests, ensure guests are recognized and obtain specific individual preferences (likes/dislikes) in order to maintain guest history and a high level of communication within the department.
  • Maintain privacy and security of in-house guests and be continuously proactive in all areas of operation
  • Prepare and check the arrival rooms, in-house guests and departure rooms as requested
  • Thorough knowledge of all in-room services, amenities, functions, systems, as well OnQ system
  • Fully responsible for the Amenities orders and delivery to the rooms on daily basis
  • Coordinate with the laundry department for pressing, collection and delivery of our Guests’ belongings
  • Offer packing and unpacking services as requested

  • Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail
  • Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
  • Previous experience in similar role
  • Proven ability to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs


It will be advantageous in this position if you demonstrate the following skills and differentials:

  • Forbes 5 stars knowledge
  • Previous experience in a luxury Hotel
