Job Description

The Business Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of an organization's back-office operations. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively. In this key supporting role, the Business Support Officer works closely with management and other departments to facilitate communications, contribute to project management tasks, and assist with administrative duties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be adept at using various software tools. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage various administrative tasks to support daily business operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other essential documents.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of important company documents and files.
  • Coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting minutes.
  • Support project management activities by tracking timelines and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients as required.
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure cohesive workflow and project advancement.
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date databases and information systems.
  • Respond to internal and external communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in organizing company events and team-building activities.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or business support role required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with project management practices and software is advantageous.
