The Business Support Manager role will be responsible for driving all the communication and engagement activities across IWPB. The person will support and drive initiatives across all business functions within IWPB across Wealth, EBS, Premier Direct and Branch channels (c. 700+ people). The role focuses on ensuring effective communication within the organization, fostering employee engagement, supporting various internal initiatives and the successful rollout of various company initiatives.

The role holder will work closely with different stakeholders across the UAE network to help drive employee engagement, culture change and being a primary custodian for all communications to frontline teams including newsletters and process changes. The role holder will report into the Head of People, Process and Internal Communications and work closely in executing the people strategy across the network. The role will work closely with the functions of performance management and people enablement and contribute all key insights to ensure that people changes/plans are communicated effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to streamline communications across frontline teams including management of the UAE Comms Hub and the weekly calls
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve communications across our frontline teams primarily on product, process, and procedures
  • Drive strategic initiatives that align with the overall people agenda ensure consistent, high-quality communications across all channels
  • Develop communication strategies for product changes and new launches. - Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure cohesive messaging
  • Manage and update the UAE Communications HUB. - Ensure prompt and accurate dissemination of information across the platform
  • Draft and send out email communications to the workforce. - Ensure all communications are clear, concise, and engaging
  • Prepare and distribute informational packs and papers. - Ensure all materials are current and relevant.
  • Manage the monthly IWPB newsletter and look at innovative ways to improve communications.
  • Reporting across product, process, and initiatives to make sure it is easy, clear, and innovative.
  • Organize and facilitate employee focus groups to gather feedback and insights. - Analyze feedback and present actionable recommendations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of management-level action plans. - Ensure management communications align with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and promote sports and activity programs to boost employee engagement. - Coordinate events and activities to foster a positive work culture
  • Oversee leave management communication processes. - Ensure all employees are informed about leave policies and procedures
  • Ensuring reading of Code of Conduct and participate in Money laundering sessions every quarter

Experience & Qualifications

  • Graduation degree is REQUIRED– to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
  • A full understanding of the IWPB Strategic objectives and the importance of the People agenda
  • Experience in the development, coordination and management of training and capability initiatives
  • A self-starter with the strong ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders within HR, Learning and other functions
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Ability to provide advice and influence stakeholders with the use of data
  • Embrace and manage changes with a high-level of resilience
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good team player and should be able to work under pressure
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
