As a Business Support Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing sales activities and business support for Hotels - including Peninsula Hotels - across all dnata Travel business units globally and within the GCC travel trade sector. You will ensure the effective implementation of strategic and tactical product initiatives to drive revenue growth, achieve profit targets, and expand market share in alignment with the Non-Air strategy.

In this role, you will

  • Monitor and manage sales activities of dnata business units, regions, and GCC travel agents; assess monthly targets and performance, identify high- and low-performing accounts, and recommend actions.
  • Define and agree annual projected sales targets with key accounts across all source markets.
  • Lead, direct, and monitor team sales activities to ensure excellent support for all accounts, dnata Travel business units, and GCC travel trade partners.
  • Plan and coordinate regular training, tactical campaigns, and booking process updates to enable frontline staff and travel agents to effectively sell Peninsula Hotels products.
  • Analyse monthly sales performance and propose targeted sales and marketing programmes for key accounts.
  • Manage operational and reservation issues escalated by dnata business units and travel agents.
  • Identify improvements to booking processes and drive implementation across all dnata Travel business units and travel agents.
  • Plan and execute sales calls, sales trips, roadshows, exhibitions, and FAM trips.

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements

  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years’ experience in the Travel Industry
  • Highly motivated, adaptable to dynamic market needs, and able to work independently within established guidelines
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships within the travel trade
  • Strong geographical knowledge and a solid understanding of the tourism industry, with superior written and verbal English skills
  • In-depth awareness of the Middle East market within the hotel, airline, or travel industry
