Overview

Role Name: Business Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager (fit-out projects, consultancy services, facilities management, security services, manpower, real estate, and transformation programs.)

Purpose: The Senior Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing

strategies for a set of non-tech categories across ENBD Group locations incl. international. This role

ensures category-level delivery of service to businesses, manage spend and cost savings in

line with strategies set by the Business Sourcing Heads. It plays a pivotal role in

translating sourcing strategies into actionable plans within assigned categories across

Group Locations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop And Implement Sourcing Strategies for Multi Categories across Group Locations: Develop, champion and ensure successful implementation of plans and strategies to support all the assigned categories. Lead all the strategies and ensure operational excellence for the for

all the assigned categories in line with sourcing guidelines and policy. Use leading sourcing tools to develop and implement Strategic Sourcing, including: supplier assessment, supplier financial analysis, RFI, RFQ & RFP based on certain threshold, Strategy Advisory, Scope Advisory, etc

• Drive best category performance across assigned categories

• Deliver sustainable competitive advantage for ENBD in the areas of Cost, Innovation, Quality and supplier relationship management

while ensuring flawless Service and Supply Security

• Lead categories transformation and enhancement through economical supply of goods and services

• Business Process And Information Management: Drive annual cost savings, supplier and service improvement in each spend category across Group Locations. Work with the sourcing teams across Group Locations to streamline and improve sourcing processes. Gain a deep understanding of the categories under management to enable discussions around the total cost of ownership and lead commodity-based discussions with senior stakeholders.

• Measure And Track Performance Within Each Spend Category And Define Budgetary Impact: Establish KPIs for each spend category. Define the data collection process; forecast budgetary impact and track actual savings.

• Monitor Category Strategy Implementation And Contract Compliance: Actively monitor the performance of contracts under management of assigned categories to ensure savings identified are meet, and business comply with the contracts in place.

• Cross Functional Team Management: Meet stakeholders weekly / monthly to collaborate and discuss all the activities, including ensuring alignment of sourcing team across Group Locations.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Manage and develop key supplier relationships for the assigned portfolio.

• Drive Best Practices For Sourcing Categories: Ensure adoption of best practices and regular exchange of knowledge across Group Locations.

• Uphold Internal And External Policies, Regulations And Laws: Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws across the bank International locations.

Stakeholders & Internal Customers: The Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager will work with int/ext stakeholders to ensure key project deliverables and timelines for Projects are met.

Manage the internal stakeholders on three levels: Strategic, Tactical and operational advisory.

Manage directly Senior internal stakeholders EVPs, VPs…)

Committees: The Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager will present the projects related to their category to the Sourcing Board (SVPs and VP audience)

Build persuasive presentations for the Group Procurement committee, Exco and Board.

Skills

·        Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

·        MCIPS, CIPS 3 / 4 level -  Preferred

·        Multi-year track record in delivering cost savings and strong supplier performance.

·        Specific commodity experience.

·        7 year+ Strategic sourcing/category management.

·        Technical skills: problem-solving and analytical skills, construct/execute multiple complex analyses simultaneously, market research & intelligence, demand management, risk management

·        Managerial skills: project management, negotiating skills, change management, stakeholder management, planning categories.

·        Thinking-related: passion for reducing cost, able to work in a dual matrix environment and lead savings strategies.

·        People-related: distinctive leadership, comfortable with conflict.

·        Self-related: self-starter and independent worker.
