Role Summary

The Manager – Business Operations is responsible for driving business performance through structured analytics, actionable insights, and data-backed strategic recommendations across the Marketplace business. This role acts as the analytical engine of the organization, translating complex datasets into clear business direction that supports growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

ROLE PROFILE

• Define and implement the Marketplace Fulfilment strategy across all operating countries
• Manage and optimize 3PL warehousing providers, ensuring performance, cost control, SLA adherence, and scalability.
• Own the last-mile delivery ecosystem across all locales, managing 3P courier partnerships and performance
• Develop the Marketplace Fulfilment & Last Mile playbook, defining SOPs, governance models, and performance standards
• Define and own core KPIs including OTD, fulfilment rate, cancellation rate, return rate, delivery speed, cost per order, and warehouse utilization
• Develop dashboards and performance reporting frameworks to enable real-time operational decision-making
• Partner closely with Product, Commercial, Finance, Seller Management, and Country teams to ensure scalable operational design
• Support new country launches with end-to-end fulfilment and last-mile setup
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in business informatics, Economics, Statistics, or related field
• 5 –7 years of experience in Business Operations, Business Analysis, Strategy, or Marketplace Analytics
• Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, retail, or digital platforms preferred
• Experience building dashboards and scalable reporting solutions
• Proven track record of influencing decisions through data insights
• Exposure to forecasting, performance modeling, and business case development
