Business Intelligence Senior Manager - Fintech | UAE

I’m currently supporting a Fintech organisation in Dubai that is hiring a Business Intelligence Senior Manager to report directly to the CFO. This is a key leadership role for someone who can drive BI strategy, elevate data governance, and turn complex data into commercial decision-making intelligence.

What the role looks like

You’ll be the person responsible for:

• Owning and delivering the BI strategy across the business

• Building dashboards, reporting suites, and data visualisations that leaders actually use

• Driving data mining, trend analysis, predictive modelling and insight generation

• Setting and enforcing data governance, quality, standards, and compliance

• Leading and developing a small BI/MIS team (analysts + data engineers)

• Managing data mapping, reconciliation and conversion

• Overseeing network, MIS systems, database stability, upgrades, testing and issue-resolution

• Contributing to budget planning, system development decisions and technology improvements

• Ensuring continuity, performance monitoring and disaster recovery readiness

What they’re looking for

• 10–15 years’ BI/MIS leadership experience (fintech experience strongly preferred)

• Strong background in data analytics, SQL, modelling and visualisation

• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Amazon Quicksight, etc.

• Understanding of ETL processes and data lifecycle management

• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to executive leadership

• Knowledge of data governance, regulatory compliance and privacy standards

• Hands-on skills with MS applications (Advanced Excel, Access, VBA/Macros, PowerPoint, SQL)
