Job Description
The following the responsibilities of the role
Define and execute the overall business strategy for the NRI segment, aligned with the organisations broader wealth management objectives.
Build, lead and scale a high‑performing NRI-focused relationship management and advisory team.
Develop and manage relationships with high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth NRI clients, acting as a senior point of contact for key relationships.
Drive asset gathering, revenue growth and profitability across investment, advisory and lending solutions relevant to NRI clients.
Oversee client acquisition strategies across priority geographies, referral networks and strategic partnerships.
Ensure delivery of holistic wealth solutions, including investments, portfolio advisory, estate and succession planning, and cross‑border structuring.
Work closely with investment, product, legal and compliance teams to ensure solutions are aligned with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
Monitor market trends, client needs and competitive dynamics within the NRI wealth management space.
Maintain strong governance, risk management and conduct standards across all client and business activities.
Represent the organisation at industry events, client forums and strategic engagements relevant to the NRI segment.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate has the following:
15+ years experience in private banking or wealth management, with a significant focus on NRI clientele.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification or professional certifications preferred.
Proven track record of building and scaling NRI-focused wealth management businesses.
Deep understanding of NRI client needs, including cross‑border investments, structuring, taxation considerations and succession planning.
Strong leadership experience managing senior relationship managers and advisory teams.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, client acquisition and long‑term client retention.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with credibility at UHNW client level.
Strong commercial judgement, governance mindset and commitment to ethical client outcomes.
