Job Description: Business Head – GCC (Global Capability Centre) – Dubai

Position Summary
A leading player in bakery ingredients and specialty food solutions is setting up a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Dubai to accelerate market expansion, innovation, and customer engagement across the Middle East.
We are seeking a high-energy, revenue-driven Business Head – GCC to spearhead business growth, build strong distributor networks, drive product penetration, and establish the brand as a preferred partner across the GCC region.
This leadership role demands a dynamic business builder with deep market networks in the UAE & GCC, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of scaling food / FMCG / B2B ingredient businesses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue & P&L Ownership
- Drive top-line and bottom-line growth for GCC operations with full P&L responsibility.
- Build and deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets across all GCC markets (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait).
- Introduce high-margin product portfolios and implement pricing strategies to expand profitability.
2. Market Expansion & Growth Strategy
- Design and execute aggressive market penetration strategies for bakery ingredients across B2B, B2C, HoReCa, industrial bakeries, and distributor networks.
- Identify new business opportunities, category gaps, and emerging trends to expand the organization’s footprint in the GCC.
- Lead country-specific growth plans with clear KPIs and revenue milestones.
3. Distributor & Key Account Management
- Appoint, evaluate, and manage distributors across GCC markets.
- Build strong relationships with large bakery chains, hypermarkets, food manufacturers, hotels, and central kitchens.
- Ensure high product visibility, demand planning accuracy, and supply continuity through proactive engagement.
4. GCC Operations & Capability Centre Leadership
- Establish and lead the Dubai Global Capability Centre, ensuring seamless operations, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiencies.
- Collaborate closely with India headquarters on product development, supply chain, customer solutions, and innovation initiatives.
- Drive digital capability, customer analytics, and operational excellence within the centre.
5. Branding, Marketing & Product Launches
- Lead brand-building initiatives including events, demos, and chef-led product trials to accelerate market adoption.
- Plan and execute high-impact product launches aligned with GCC consumption trends.
- Strengthen brand positioning as a trusted name for quality, innovation, and consistency.
6. Leadership & Team Building
- Build, mentor, and lead a strong commercial and technical team supporting GCC operations.
- Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, speed, and revenue delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- UAE National (Mandatory).
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in building and scaling businesses in the GCC—preferably in bakery ingredients, food service, or FMCG B2B sectors (e.g., cake mixes, whipping/cooking creams, bakery solutions).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related fields (Mandatory).
- MBA / Master’s Degree in International Business, Marketing, Sales, or General Management (Highly Preferred).
- Additional certifications in Food Safety, Quality Management, Supply Chain, or Export Management will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record of delivering strong revenue growth and establishing new markets or business verticals.
- Strong network with distributors, bakers, chefs, procurement heads, and retail partners across the GCC.
- Exceptional negotiation, strategy-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in setting up or managing a regional office or capability centre is an added advantage.
- Valid UAE Driving License and own vehicle (Mandatory).
