Business Development Manager

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our Human Risk Management services across the GCC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, promoting our digital KYC and KYE platform, and selling background screening and due diligence solutions to organizations operating in highly regulated and risk-sensitive environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the GCC.
• Sell SGS Human Risk Management solutions, including:
  • KYC (Know Your Customer)
  • KYE (Know Your Employee)
  • Employment Background Screening
  • Due Diligence and Third-Party Risk Management
• Build relationships with Compliance, Risk, HR, Procurement, and C-Level Managers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature.
• Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial proposals.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.
• Maintain awareness of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of successful B2B business development or sales experience within the GCC.

• Proven experience selling services to financial institutions, multinational corporations, luxury brands, technology companies, or regulated industries.

• Strong understanding of:

  • KYC / AML
  • Background Screening
  • Due Diligence
  • Risk Management
  • Compliance Solutions

• Experience selling SaaS, RegTech, Compliance Technology, or digital platforms is considered a strong advantage.

• Existing network within financial services or luxury industries is highly desirable.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Arabic would be an advantage. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
