Job Overview

We are looking for a result-driven Business Development Professionals specifically with Lifesciences and Healthcare background for our Precision Oncology laboratory and support our global Bioinformatics program. The right candidate will be responsible and willing to aggressively pursue sales opportunities for this innovative start-up company. From developing new businesses to developing account management, this role is focused on driving successful, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Pursuing new business opportunities within target industries and customer groups
  2. Expanding the portfolio of clients via cold calls and proactive outbound pitches.
  3. Nurturing the existing portfolio of Life Sciences and Healthcare clients through strong rapport building, regular engagement and communication
  4. As a secondary priority, growing the accounts by approaching new stakeholders with a bold approach, pitching new business opportunities and owning the entire process
  5. Identifying buying points, pitching qualified leads and booking a targeted number of meetings per quarter, keeping in mind the goal of increasing revenue
  6. You will work closely with our Management/Stakeholders to build a scalable and profitable commercial strategy through offering recommendations of ways to generate leads and identifying new sales avenues, backed up by experience as well as bringing evidence-based insights and ideas for future growth.
    1. You will support our Life Science and Healthcare Operations team by working on commercial campaigns and commercial outcomes to RFQs (responses for quotes) through close contact with the senior Life Science and Healthcare stakeholders
    2. Interfaces with the customer service representatives to ensure consistent and timely responses to questions, challenges with reports, etc.
    3. Mentors’ sales team members to successfully meet targets
    4. Provide feedback and analysis to operations to improve/adjust/expand any Marketing strategies.
    5. Performs other duties as assigned, example: attend trade shows, present capabilities.
    6. Able to provide senior management with client overviews
    Stay up to date with latest discoveries in industries and share your expertise both within and beyond the bioscience group.
