Job Summary
- To Lead the Bank’s Affluent client growth strategy by utilizing the Affluent client value proposition to acquire New to Bank Affluent clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the Bank’s agenda to grow high net worth individual clients by acquiring high value new to bank clients in the Priority Private segment.
- Present the Bank’s high net worth offering to prospective UAE clients
- Interact with prospective clients at industry events, sales camps, networking seminars and client referrals.
- Activate NTB clients, set up and educate clients on remote channel usage i.e., Online, Mobile, Contact Centre and ensure smooth handover clients to assigned Priority Banking Teams.
- Drive business development to acquire new Affluent Banking relationships by identifying, engaging, and qualifying affluent prospects, and facilitating the opening of affluent accounts for both salaried and self-employed customers. Introduce and refer qualified customers to the Executive Banking Relationship Manager (RM) for seamless onboarding, relationship management, and subsequent product fulfilment.
- Drive business development by identifying and engaging affluent and High-Net-Worth (HNW) prospects (Salaried/self-employed) across government entities, corporate organizations, and business networks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with UAE Govt corporate clients, community organizations, and UAE business forums to generate a consistent pipeline of affluent banking account prospects.
- Partner with Standard Chartered Corporate Relationship Managers to organize and support affluent banking programs, customer engagement initiatives, and corporate roadshows for affluent client’s lead generation.
- Ensure to follow the onboarding process for NTB Clients with different internal onboarding teams like GBS, CFCC and CDD. Ensure smooth transition of the entire onboarding process for Clients, from onboarding, funding till handover to the Relationship team.
- Ensure “Customer Due Diligence” requirements as prescribed by the bank are duly adhered to. All legal and compliance guidelines provided by the bank are adhered to.
- Data confidentiality and secrecy norms of the bank are fully adhered to.
- Ensure that the sales process prescribed by the bank is fully adhered to.
- Ensure full awareness of all policies related to Mis-selling etc. & comply the same.
- Maintain complete and detailed knowledge of all the assigned products.
- Be responsive to customers’ needs and practice responsible selling, adhering to appropriate sales and marketing practices.
- Maintain accurate and up to date activity records.
- As the first line of defense for the Bank, ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations and global AML & CDD standards.
- Ensure ORF / process universe adoption and governance.
- Read, understand, and comply with all provisions of the Group Code of Conduct.
- Zero Tolerance on Fraud and Mis selling.
- Ensure timely completion of all required Trainings.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Qualifications
- UAE National
- Previous Direct Sales experiences/Relationship Management in banking.
- Minimum Graduate Degree Holder.
- Previous experience of Deposits / Liability in UAE market.
