Role Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding BotimPay’s presence in the SME segment, acquiring new business customers, and driving revenue growth through tailored payment and financial solutions. This role will focus on developing strong SME relationships, optimizing sales pipelines, and enabling sustainable growth and market penetration.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, acquire, and manage relationships with SMEs and business partners to drive adoption of BotimPay’s payment and financial solutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong SME sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead generation, engagement, and deal conversion.
  • Drive transaction growth and product adoption among SMEs through effective relationship management and solution-driven selling.
  • Conduct market research and segmentation analysis to identify high-potential SME sectors and develop targeted go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, integration, and ongoing support for SME clients by collaborating with Product, Tech, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • Monitor sales performance, conversion metrics, and revenue outcomes to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with SME clients to assess performance, identify challenges, and uncover new growth opportunities.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in SME business development, B2B sales, fintech, or payments, preferably within the MENA region.
  • Proven track record in SME acquisition, relationship management, and driving revenue growth in a fintech or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of SME banking, payments, credit solutions, and digital financial tools relevant to small and medium businesses.
  • Experience in developing and managing sales pipelines, handling multiple deals, and negotiating business agreements.
  • Knowledge of POS, QR payments, invoicing tools, digital wallets, and other SME-oriented financial solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convert insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving fintech environment, managing multiple business development initiatives simultaneously.
