Role Summary
SLICIT is seeking experienced Business Development Managers with a focus on generating high-net-worth individual (HNWI) prospects and leads. In this strategic role, you will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with potential clients who seek sophisticated investment solutions. Leveraging your network, industry knowledge, and expertise in asset management, you will create and execute initiatives designed to attract HNWIs, Family Offices and Institutional clients positioning SLICIT as their preferred choice for alternative asset investment services.
Your responsibilities will extend beyond networking and direct client engagement to include collaboration with our Expertise Investment Hub and Marketing teams, particularly with Digital Media and Social Media Managers, to craft and execute comprehensive strategies that resonate with the demographic of our target segments.

Essential Qualifications And Skills
Network and Relationship Building: Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with HNWIs and key influencers within the financial sector.
Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of investment products, asset management, and the financial needs and preferences of HNWIs.
Strategic Sales and Marketing: Experience in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies targeted at the HNWI segment, as well as other target audiences.
Communication and Negotiation: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment propositions in a compelling manner.
Collaborative Work Ethic: Experience in collaborating with investment experts, digital media, and social media teams to produce cohesive and effective client acquisition strategies.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.
CRM Proficiency: Skilled in using CRM software (ideally Zoho) to manage client information, track interactions, and report on sales progress.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree, such as an MBA or relevant additional postgraduate qualifications in finance or marketing, is highly advantageous.
English Fluency (Mandatory): Absolute proficiency in English to ensure effective global communication.
Nice-to-Have Skills
International Exposure: Experience working with Professional Investors, Retail Investors, HNWIs, Family Offices, asset managers and fund managers from diverse geographical backgrounds, understanding the nuances of global investment landscapes.
Event Management: Ability to plan, organize, and execute high-profile events that cater typically to HNWIs, providing networking opportunities and showcasing the company’s expertise.
Digital Marketing: Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms to reach our target segments through targeted online campaigns.
Multilingual Capabilities: Fluency in key languages addressing our diverse clientele, including but not limited to Arabic, Hindi, Russian, or Chinese, and other languages pertinent to our target markets. This linguistic diversity will enable personalized engagement with HNWIs worldwide.
