Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

Our client is a trusted partner in global logistics & freight solutions, delivering reliable freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain solutions since 2014 in UAE.

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic growth initiatives within the freight forwarding industry. This role requires a strategic and results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and the ability to build and maintain high-level relationships.

The successful candidate will drive revenue growth, expand market share, and identify new business opportunities through proactive market analysis, strategic planning, and strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive company growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• Lead and mentor the peers and team members, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategies.
• Negotiate and close high-value contracts and partnerships.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities and results to Sales Director.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience in sales, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and international trade regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• UAE driving license
