Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives.
  • Identify and assess new market opportunities to drive company expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with prospective clients and partners.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, bids, and RFP responses to clients.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities to identify business threats and opportunities.
  • Track and report on business development performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior business development staff.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role is essential.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends is necessary.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients is a must.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to anticipate business challenges.
