mazeed is a financial management platform that helps businesses automate accounting, simplify tax compliance, and stay ready for e-invoicing through a combination of localized software (SaaS) and Finance-as-a-Service (FaaS). We work with SMEs and growing companies across the GCC, enabling them to operate with clarity, control, and confidence.
We are building the infrastructure for the next phase of financial compliance and digital transformation in the region, with a strong focus on e-invoicing and scalable financial operations
2- Purpose
The UAE e-invoicing mandate is the largest compliance shift for UAE businesses in years. Large businesses must appoint an accredited service provider ahead of go-live in 2027, and SMEs follow in the next wave. This role turns that mandate into revenue for Mazeed.
You will sell Mazeed's e-invoicing and accounting solutions directly through outbound, and at scale through partners: free zones, banks, accounting firms and platforms that reach thousands of businesses. You own your pipeline from first contact to signature, and you own the partners you maintain and manage partners throughout the partnership agreement.
Key responsibilities
3.1 E-invoicing sales
Build and work a named list of target businesses, prioritised by e-invoicing deadline, size and readiness.
Run the full sales cycle: discovery, compliance-led demo, proposal, negotiation and close.
Position Mazeed as the accredited e-invoicing route for UAE businesses, and for KSA businesses under ZATCA where relevant.
Hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets, with every opportunity carrying a dated close.
3.2 Outbound prospecting
Self-source pipeline through calls, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, events and referrals.
Prospect on triggers: new trade licences and VAT registrations, spreadsheet and foreign-tool users, businesses hiring finance staff, and companies approaching their e-invoicing deadline.
Book and run qualified meetings every week, and follow up the same day with a dated next step.
3.3 Partnership development
Identify, approach and sign partners that can distribute Mazeed at scale: free zone authorities and business setup firms, banks and payment providers, accounting and tax firms, accelerators, and software platforms.
Structure the right partnership model for each partner: referral, co-marketing, bundled or embedded offer.
Engage 2 to 3 free zone authorities or partner organisations every working day.
3.4 Partner management
Deliver an enablement pack within 10 working days of every signature: training, collateral, referral process and contacts.
Make every partner productive within 60 days, and run a monthly performance review with each one.
Grow partner output through joint campaigns, workshops and events, and flag dormant partners early.
3.5 Pipeline, CRM and reporting
Keep the CRM updated the same day for every meeting, stage change and next step.
Send a start-of-day plan and an end-of-day summary, and submit the weekly pipeline report every Friday.
Share market, competitor and regulatory intelligence with the team.
Requirements
Must have
4 to 6 years in B2B sales or business development, ideally in SaaS, fintech, accounting software or professional services.
At least 2 years building or managing partnerships or channel sales.
A proven record of closing new business against targets, with numbers you can show.
Experience selling in the UAE, with an existing network across free zones, banks, accounting firms or the SME ecosystem.
Working knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax and the e-invoicing mandate, or the ability to learn it fast and explain it simply.
Strong outbound discipline: comfortable with daily prospecting targets and cold outreach.
Fluent English, with confident written and verbal communication.
Hands-on CRM use (HubSpot, Odoo or similar) and strong organisation of daily activity and admin.
